Monsoon Skin Care Tips - What You Should Do

It’s Monsoon time! Everything around you looks and feels bright, breezy and fresh…But does your skin too? Have you ever found your skin acting strangely during the rainy season? It is generally seen that the human skin becomes quite irritable during the rainy season. Our skin might often become oily and alternatively dry or dehydrated. It is not only in the summer season that you need to look fresh and beautiful but around the year too.

We need to look after our skin equally during the rains as we do during the scorching summer heat. Fungal infection, skin eruption, and dry/oily skin are few of the major problems that most of us face. However, many of us still don’t know what or what not to do. Following the simple skin care regime Monsoon will do the trick for you.

· Use a gentle scrub cleanser to cleanse your skin daily. Gently scrub your face twice to exfoliate your dead skin. Oatmeal and Papaya are mild exfoliants too.

· If you have an oily skin then drink excess of water, use water based moisturizers and cleanse your skin multiple times to keep it less oily and prevent blackheads from growing like weeds.

· Make sure to use a mild sun screen even when it is cloudy. You might not know 80% of the UV rays can still penetrate even when it remains cloudy.

· Avoid heavy make-up. It’s feasible to keep it as simple as possible.

You can only remain healthy outside if you are perfect in the inside. So, finally, don’t forget to eat healthy. Eat lots of vegetables and drink plenty of fluids to keep your skin healthy, glowing and warm all through the rainy season.

And above all, enjoy the rains!!!!
