Joy (24 Carat Gold) Gold Radiance Face Pack Review

With steeping gold prices when I am not able to afford it, so treating myself these days with Joy Gold Radiance Face Pack which claims to contain 24 Karat Gold. No! this don’t turn me into gold…read on to know more….

The face pack comes in a gold coloured squeeze tube pack with a flip flop cap. So convenient to use & carry around. It’s a creamy face pack which gets spread easily on skin with mild perfume like fragrance. Boy! I tell you this is an instant brightening pack which gives a bleach like glow to your skin without going through all harsh chemicals way (does contains parabens but way too less than what we find in bleaches). It instantly adds a radiant glow to your skin.

The sad part being the results lasts only for a day or two. This face pack I would highly recommend when you have no time for your parlour treatments & want fast results. This can save your life during special occasions like marriage or any kind of functions. I am pretty happy with this for emergency purpose but only thing hard to believe is the real 24 Karat gold part that too for 125 odd bucks!

New Joy Skin Fruits is a unique product in the joy home facial range. Enriched with real strawberry extracts and the goodness of other fruits like Avocado, Apricot and Papaya, it nourishes and moisturizes the skin giving it a fresh and healthy look. It also contains Alpha Hydroxy Fruit System and natural clay which penetrates deep into the skin and gently removes the dirt from the pores. This creamy Fruit Pack increases skin’s elasticity and suppleness, improves blood circulation, softens fine lines and wrinkles. The skin looks fairer, nourished, smooth, revitalized, glowing and pampered.

Price: 55INR for 60ml. Also available in 20ml pack.

My Take on the Product:

Now its summer time & I come out my thick moisturizing packs to bright light fruity & citrus ones. I didn’t use this during winters being sure of it drying out my skin. But now have been using this face pack since a month & I can say this has not disappointed me.

The face pack comes in a user friendly white coloured squeeze tube pack with red colored flip flop cap. It’s a pale brown colored face pack having a thick consistency but not too thick & easily spreads on the skin. It does not sting on my skin or irritate it. Has got a fruity fragrance which is not overpowering. Gives a clear bright skin but can’t comment on its ability to reduce wrinkle as I don’t have any. Sadly the results lasts hardly for a day or two. But at this price I don’t expect much from the product. I love to use this when need a clear brightening skin instantly.I haven’t experienced any dryness or stretchiness in my skin after using this. Skin feels hydrated & supple. Helpful in removing mild tan but not heavier ones.

Final Verdict:

Joy skin fruits softening face pack comes in a hygienic squeeze tube pack & gives a clear bright skin. The results doesn’t last long but can be considered a good option for instant bright skin. Doesn’t dry put my skin & makes it hydrated & supple. Its super duper cheap but not easily available across all drugstores.

What the company claims, directions and ingredients:

Price: 126 INR

Net vol: 300ml (offer of buy one get one free)

Shelf life: 2 years

Texture: Joy winter care lotion is an off white colored lotion and has a right consistency. It is neither very thick nor very flowy. It spreads like a dream and gets absorbed quickly without leaving a greasy kind of feeling. My skin feels very moisturized and soft after applying it.

Fragrance: The smell is nice and heavenly. It is not overpowering at all and doesn’t last long, which I don’t mind, as strong scents give me a headache.

Packaging: The packaging is neat and simple. The lotion comes in a white and sturdy bottle which can be carried around without worrying about the spillage. It has a pink flip top cap which is quite tight.

My take on Joy Winter Care Lotion:

Joy winter care lotion can be applied on the whole body including face but I use it as a body lotion. I rarely experiment with facial moisturizers as my skin is very sensitive. It is a light body lotion and suits all skin types but people with extremely dry skin may need reapplication. I usually apply it post shower. It gets absorbed within seconds and makes my skin smooth and moisturized. Although I need more amount of lotion but it makes my dry skin feel soft and nourished for the whole day. One of my friends with very dry skin feels the need to reapply it after 5 hours of its application.

The fragrance is awesome. Though it doesn’t last long but it makes me feel fresh and awake. The texture is perfect. It glides onto my skin well without feeling sticky. The best part is it contains sunscreen so I don’t need to apply a separate sunscreen.

Final verdict

I love the moisturizing effect of the lotion. My skin feels soft, smooth and nourished for the whole day without reapplication. The fragrance is amazing. It instantly livens me up. Although the company claims that it is ideal for all skin types but it might not work for very dry skin. Overall I am quite happy with this lotion.
